How We Got Here
Atom8 has never been a consulting firm that talks about technology. We’ve always built it. Here’s our journey.
Born in Healthcare Automation
Atom8 was founded with a single mission: eliminate the manual work crushing healthcare Revenue Cycle Management teams. We built a proprietary RPA platform from the ground up — purpose-built for the complexity of insurance claims, remittance processing, and billing workflows. No off-the-shelf tool could do what we needed, so we created our own.
Eight Years Building a Healthcare RPA Product
Over eight years we refined our platform into a battle-tested product used by RCM teams to process thousands of claims a day. We learned what real automation requires in a regulated, high-stakes environment: reliability, auditability, and the ability to handle the messy exceptions that break every other tool.
Sold the Product. Kept the DNA.
In 2017 we sold the RCM automation platform to a healthcare company. The exit validated the product — but it also freed us to build what came next. The instinct to create rather than just consult stayed with us.
EasyETL: Giving Back to the Community
After the exit, we built EasyETL — an open-source data integration framework for .NET developers who needed a flexible, no-nonsense way to move and transform data. It reflected our belief that good tooling should be accessible to everyone, not just enterprises with large budgets.
The AI Moment We’d Been Preparing For
When large language models crossed the threshold from impressive demos to genuinely useful business tools, we saw it immediately — because we’d spent 15 years understanding what automation actually requires in practice. In 2025 we pivoted Atom8 to AI services, helping businesses adopt AI alongside our existing Microsoft Platform and Cybersecurity work.

In 2026 we made the call to go all-in: Atom8 now does one thing and does it exceptionally well. We design and build AI adoption strategies, deploy agentic AI solutions, and automate business processes with AI — nothing else. Arasu Elango
Founder & CEO, Atom8Arasu has been building automation software since 2009, starting with a healthcare RCM platform he took from concept to a successful exit in 2017. After the exit he built EasyETL, an open-source data integration framework for .NET, before pivoting Atom8 to AI services in 2025.
He brings a practitioner’s perspective to every engagement — having personally designed, built, and shipped production automation systems across healthcare, logistics, and professional services. He’s not interested in AI hype; he’s interested in what actually works.
